When I was in grade 6 (11 years old), that's when it started to become important to look attractive. The style was tight pants and spaghetti strap tank tops. There weren't any really low rise jeans at this point though, and showing stomachs wasn't a big thing. It was mostly just tight pants and showing off breats. Anyway my point is that I remember being 9 and 10 years old and wearing god-awful ugly clothing-just sweat pants and sweaters or t-shirts that didn't match at all and runners. I look back at pictures and think it's very funny, but I also think it's cute. Hey I was only 9, I wasn't meant to be some fashion diva. Now I look at nine year olds and they're wearing low rise pants and little shirts and whatnot. I don't think there's anything wrong with them showing off their bodies (and I'm sure you pedos love it) but I always wonder how they feel. When I was 11 and that sort of thing became important, there was soooooooooo much pressure to look good. So much that I was spending significant amounts of time worrying. And I was a pretty girl too, I shouldn't have been wasting my time being so stressed out. So I wonder if that's what those 8 and 9 year olds are going through now. Looking back I'm really glad that it was ok to be dorky at that age when I was that age. It left more time to be happy and to play. And it was only a few years ago!! (I'm 18 now) Isn't it amazing how fast things change.
I know that I first started having real crushes on people when I was 9, so kids that age are obviously sexual, but I wish there was a way to express that that didn't come with so much stress. Sometimes I feel really sad looking at young girls who are dressing like that, because I know how i felt when I started dressing that way.
Wow that was pretty disorganized, I hope I made sense.
