It's All Illegal

What you say Love2uall is sad but probably very true. That the very laws made to protect the kids are more than likely making things worse. To be honest, if someone didn't actually love a child and just wanted their body and sex, it doesn't matter how illegal it is, that person will probably find a way to get it. On the other hand, someone who actually does love a child and their relationship is healthy and both want sexual play, often times the adult will try very hard to show self control and say, "No, we can't. I want to, but it's illegal." So all they're stopping is the good guys.

Your description of a starving person devouring a stake was good too. There are many countries where anything erotic involving a child is pounced on and considered illegal. Some countries are worse than others when it comes to this. For instance, in Canada absolutely everything involving a child in some kind of sexual or potentially erotic form is illegal. That means fictional stories and drawings too. And yet in countries where such things are allowed, there's no evidence that people who look at it actually go out to perform those acts in real life. On the other hand, not allowing any kind of safe outlet that doesn't even involve any real children, could starve a person to the point of being actually abusive to a child just to satisfy that need/want.
