Rant about kids in the office

Hello all.

I'll briefly reintroduce me so that the following message will make sense:
I'm the guy in love with my career.
Got that straight? Good.

For the last few days, my boss has been bringing in his 8 year old daughter into the office, and then promptly disappearing into meetings.
This girl is so cute. She's got this fantastic blonde hair, she isn't pencil thin, and she's always wearing pants that she'll "grow into".
She also has no understanding of "personal space" and will quite happily sit in your lap without an invitation.

Now, this girl has so far spent her day waltzing around the office, making name tags for my colleagues, singing, eating, watching children's TV programs, demanding to be taken to the coffee shop, clinging to various staff members, etc...

Now, my question to everyone is:
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CONCENTRATE WITH THIS HAPPENING ALL DAY!?

I'm so getting fired because I haven't done a single thing all week!!
ARGH!
