Personal Attacks on Anti-Pedos

I wanted to make a comment about something that I think is starting to become more prevalent as activism increases in the GL and BL communities...

http://absolutezerounited.blogspot.com/ is a new website that has just been set up. It's a new Anti-pedophile blog that has arisen, according to the owner because of hurtful comments made to him somewhere, apparently by people from this forum. He states: "This site has been set up in response to an attack..." ...

This ain't cool, people. As much as I might dispise some of the thinking that goes on in the minds of people who don't agree with me, I personally always attempt my damndest to keep my cool and respond patiently and responsibly to whatever a person might say. Like Ghandi and the Indian liberation from British rule, if we don't follow the creed of non-violent civil resistance, there ain't no way in hell that we'll ever gain support by those on the fence.

Now, that's not to say that we can't be poignant in our speech as we make points, and it's true that I'm not familiar with the actual happenings that transpired between the GL/BL communities and this blogger, but it definately cannot be positive in its outcome if we don't restrain ourselves. After all, we're supposed to be promoting love, not hate. Maybe we should listen more to what the anti-pedos are saying about us rather than just knocking it all off as "well, they hate us, so fuck'em". Even Angry Momma has some valid points that need to be addressed. We need to do this properly, guys.
