As to the girl who wouldn't let you go and what she sees in you--it may be nothing more than that you are willing give her the attention she needs. That is not to say that she sees nothing special in you--the fact that you are there and willing to play with her *is* what's special. I think a lot of children are attention-starved and an adult who actually takes an interest in them, talks to them, plays with them or just be's with them (I don't think I have conjugated that verb properly!) is quite special.

It sounds wonderful for you (and them) that you can be with all those children. Long may it continue.
