And do you believe it's only boys and men who routinely have an interest in sex over and above any type of emotional commitment? My frequently broken heart suggests otherwise. And conversely, do you believe that boys do not also fall in love? Ditto.

I think the difference implied, not just by LR but by Roc too, is that, though manipulation or simply self-inflicted delusion can happen to both genders, females are inherently more likely to have lasting consequences to that mistake.

No, you are NOT going to drag me into the argument this week. I was just stating the premise I think is hidden.

Girls can indeed get pregnant, so why don't more parents and educators insist they get objective and morally neutral sex education from an early age rather than trying to outright prohibit all sexual activity for them entirely? Why can't boys and girls alike have free access to condoms and other safe and reliable means of birth control?

From my part, and as I have previously recognized here, I oppose all of the above precisely to increase the under-19 pregnancy rates.

As Sigma said in a very very different thread, when you look at a policy don't listen to the justifications given, but to the actual results. Me likes the actual results.

As for the Disney movies always having happy endings...that may appear to be true on the surface, but a close inspection of such classic Disney animated films reveal a good amount of negative messages that people who enjoy them without close scrutiny are likely to miss: check this out.

Ah yes, all the Disney princes are mighty handsome and mighty rich (and inherited rich, at that, not self-made rich: those are evil) - so anyone who isn't hot like a model, hung like a pronztar and inherited like Paris Hilton, don't even think about it, creeps. For all the feminist protests, the objectified in Disney are males.
