It is irritating to write in English. I must think/work more than the native English speakers or anyone whose English is better than mine.

This is a sad story. No, it is not the possible sex part that makes me sad; I am not horrified by the thought that someone may have had sex with her. But it has always been hard for me to hear stories where the parents lose a child, especially a little girl (the smaller, the worse) or where a child (especially a girl, the smaller the worse) loses her parent/parents. They are painful stories to hear.

It has happened a few times that I have bought a cheap pocket book and suddenly slammed it shut and taken it to the trashbin outside. Sometimes this has happened if there is a little girl in the novel who loses her parents, one way or another, or parents who lose their little girl, by death or any other way.

It has happened also if I notice that the novel condemns pedophiles. I have decided: I don't read more of this shit.

And once it happened when the novel described pedophiles and child-sex too lively. I got jealous and destroyed the book.

It took a long time before I could watch Jeux Interdits in its entirety. Of course I had seen it in the past, but when I acquired the movie a few years ago, I could watch it only a short piece at a time, and finally I got to the end. The movie was too painful.
