Of course it was one of those mainstream novels that you can buy anywhere. There was nothing illegal in it, and the writer did not know anything real about the child sex subject; in fact he did not even describe sex, but pedophiles' relationships with kids.

It was one of those trash novels of Lawrence Block. I wanted to make this clear.
