Generally speaking, feminists are/were highly supportive of the gay rights movement, while highly critical of pedophilia and pro-pedophile activism. Gay men historically were more supportive of these things, concentrated mainly on boy love, but not necessarily/automatically dismissive of other forms of inter-generational relationships either. Of course we can't put all of the blame on feminists, but subsequently gay rights and social acceptance have greatly increased while anti-pedophile activism and laws have also increased and social acceptance has decreased.

If you look at where we were at in the 70s, if things had progressed rather than regressed, we'd be in pretty good shape by now. Perhaps not quite as good as gays, but a lot better than where we are now, and we'd still have a working relationship with the gay community, and they could help us out more and more as they increasingly got more of their own rights and social acceptance. But sadly, they had to disavow us in order to be in a position to work for their own rights.
