The diagnosis occurred fairly recently, I was pissed when her mom gleefully informed me that she'd finally gotten the therapist to agree that WG has schizophrenia and prescribe her an anti-psychotic (I know the name of the drug, it is a drug usually given to adults for schizophrenia), though the mom was disappointed that WG wasn't diagnosed with bi-polar disorder as well. If I was not very practiced at controlling my emotions I likely would have gone off on her. I nearly called CPS but was ultimately convinced that it probably wouldn't do any good (and even though it's anonymous there's a good chance I would be the prime suspect for who called).

Since the diagnosis they've changed the drug once. Since no anti-psychosis drug will do any good I'm hoping they will change a few more times before concluding that the drugs won't help. My worry is they will find something that sedates her and conclude they fixed the "schizophrenia". If they'd at least taken her out of her home for a day or two they would easily realize that the home environment is the problem, it's not a psychotic issue.
