I didn't say you/we are itching to rape kids. I said that most of the public thinks that.

Oh? I think a great many people think that. You can express your outrage that no reasonable person would believe that -- but they do. Plenty of them will say so online in very hostile terms. Others will be a bit more restrained but still believe it. If you want to change the world, you've got to start with where they are.

If you take yourself literally, you should be afraid of a great many of your fellow citizens.
