How do you think the destination of my situation and outlook is predetermined by my own mind? What destination do you suppose I am predetermining?

What course am I on, exactly, that you hope I allow to be altered?

And what impression and reaction do you think I have chosen which you are implying I should not have chosen, and which impression or reaction do you think I should have chosen instead?
