I won't support a biased researcher, or person

I'm a psychology major myself. Although just a lowly undergrad.

There is a fundamental problem with the premise.

Unbiased, sound, and rational conclusions are not possible right now in the western world.

The ABSOLUTE BEST the medical, psychological, or mental health community can do right now is work with the given assumption that being minor attracted is a sickness.

The BEST they can muster is to put us in the DSM like homosexuality was.

No progress will be made so long as the following silent assumptions remain in the cultural collective conscious of the western world:

-Intimacy with children is most often harmful

-Harm is most often caused by the 'perpetrator', or sex-acts, and not by societies reaction to it

-Free pedophiles are a ticking-time bomb and will eventually offend, and cause harm

We have let social and cultural norms bias science so much that is not even possible to see through the fog, and anyone who did, and published it would be bullied out of their occupation.

When we speak of an adult and a minor, there is no freedom of association between 2 individuals. The child is legal property of their parent.

I've seen it first hand - If a minor has a crush on someone too much older then them, the parents will run inference.

The bottom line is that society isn't ready for good research yet, and I don't want to support more dribble. We have enough bad science as it is.
