Several days ago, the Toronto news media announced a new "sex shop" opening near downtown. It is completely legal in that the sex worker is artificial. The entire staff are silicon dolls. (Uh, I am assuming the owners are real, though.)

But that's not what got me laughing. The laws allow such sex shop activities with a couple limitations. The dolls are required to not look underage and must be taller than a certain height.

So, how would one know if the doll looked 16 versus 17? Are dolls required to carry age certifications? What would be so horrible if one doll was 5 foot 5 versus another doll who was 5 foot 6? Why is it that nobody can legally have sex with a midget doll yet sex with a real midget is perfectly legal?

If the doll decided to stop the sex act mid-act (say, if an arm fell off), and the John insisted on finishing, would that be construed as rape? Can you rape a doll?

What do you call someone who lives off the avails of a doll prostitute? Is he still called a pimp?

Finally, where would one procure a silicon sex doll? Toy's Я Us?
