They need... no, crave... mattering to someone, being told that they are someone special. (Especially in my heart.) But they need, also, to learn so many other character values that few people can offer to teach them. You and I both can; so, too, there are so many people here who can.

Yes, I was very much a fan of John. I was devastated when that guy shot and killed him. I just could not understand how someone could harm someone else who preached, "Give peace a chance." That mentality just does not make any sense to me. But, to your note: sorry, I didn't catch the reference. (Remember, I'm old and decrepit and lucky I can remember my own name.)
