Your confusion is warranted.

I took the liberty of coining the term "hardcore paedophilia" to refer to the activities of persons who abduct and/or violently abuse non-consenting children for sexual or physically abusive purposes. I wanted a way to differentiate the abusive pedophiles frequently associated with organizations such as the Catholic Church and the Illuminati from the (largely non-abusive) girl lovers who share on GC.

I decided to eschew the term "child abusers", because child abuse is more frequently associated with violence, humiliation, or neglect than actual sexual contact.
