Bar tabs

Yup. That was one of my experiments. Bars were usually about 3/4 inch thick and I was wondering if a graphite arc welder could do any damage. It can't. Have to pump up the amperage to get any kind of cutting done.

My years there were full of fun adventures. We had a lock-down for an entire month. I can't remember why. But I just HAD to find something fun to do. I made a pea-shooter for small spit-balls made from toilet paper. Me and the guy in the next cell over made it a tournament of seeing who could get spit-balls onto the guard windows (about 30 feet, maybe) from our cell doors. After about three days, it got boring but the poor guard windows were chicken-poxed to the point that they got a house-man to wash them all off. Later, something got me angry about something and I decided to take it out on one of the C/O's. For hours, I would heat water and prison-issued soap to make a thick sauce of soap. I had about two gallons still liquid-formed and I waited for my nemesis to walk by on his rounds. Bang, goes the exit door and, ever so slowly, I began coating the stairway in front of my cell with that soap sauce. An hour later, the hateful C/O came in his normal entry door (on the upper tier), made his top tier tour and went to descend the stairs. The idiot just plain didn't look. He stepped onto the now cooled soap paste and slid all the way down the stairs. He radioed for help and they came with a stretcher for him. The house-men spent several days flushing the soap paste away. Ain't I the evil inmate? :)

Getting back to your post... (I love to digress, eh?) We had three cats: two brothers and one cousin (???) who was severely inbred and, from what I could tell, schizophrenic. He would look at the walls in the middle of the night and meow at them. (Concrete walls, so no mice, roaches, nor real animal infestations of any kind.) The cat was just seeing imaginary things. You could see his eyes following his imaginary what-evers. The two brothers never did it.
