Funny bout the dog and the cat. Had a friend with two cats, one normal and alpha, the other retarded. Alpha would always try to dry-hump the retarded one, eventually causing him to never ever leave the kitchen counter, where the other cat would somehow never go. It was his kitty "safe space" I guess. The other cat eventually got a urinary blockage and couldn't pee. He died. The retarded cat lived to a rip old age, happily oblivious to most things and very contented. Even after his fellow feline abuser was long gone, he never did leave the kitchen counter. Such is life.
