This video points out the obvious that the figures thrown around about "sex trafficking" are unreliable and misleading - and especially so when the media talks about "child sex trafficking". It's fake news.

This proposed "Equality Act" goes much too far as even its supporters know, but has been introduced for purposes of politics. All this pageantry does have some interesting implications, however. I do note that the author of this piece makes an allusion to the unholy radical feminist and conservative Christian alliance that has caused so much harm. Those two belief systems interact in some truly awful ways.

Those appealing the 16 year old young lady's conviction are pointing out the obvious that laws intended to protect children should not be used to punish children. (How many of the people throwing children in jail for consensual sex crimes recall that the original reason for the Age of Consent was to protect children from the courts?)

Finally, I think Alina Morse might have gotten a shout out here before, but just in case it has been neglected - Alina is a 14 year old CEO of a company that makes healthy lollipops and other candy that is good for teeth: Zollipops. What is especially interesting, besides her success at a relatively young age, is that she began this journey when she was 7. There are many ways for a girl to be a good example to others, but Alina has certainly succeeded at at least one of them.
