I would choose this day too, for its poignancy.

The tragedy of Neil Wilkes affected me very deeply.

I propose that this should be one of two days we commemorate.

The other day, the one we can celebrate, should somehow be a marker of

something momentous that is seen as being positive, from within our

community and from without, in the world at large.
