Of course. There does have to be regulation, as it should ultimately be the decision of the one wishing to take the treatment.

While I do tend to agree with your sentiments, as expressed above, I feel the need to ask the question: Why?

The treatment is believed to prolong human life.

Parents have done far far worse with less results than this for just that reason.

We don't allow children to refuse vaccinations; why would we allow them to refuse this treatment?
