Hi to all

Just thought I'd say hello to everyone before I start posting as I am new to the forum.

I'm from the UK and admitted to myself that I was a GL about 8-9 years ago. Looking back I have been a GL all my life but I admit I wasn't strong enough of character at the time to stand up to family and society pressures and expectations, as a result I suffered numerous severe depressive episodes, however all that has changed and since admitting the truth to myself I have never been happier and more at peace with myself, I don't shout what I am from the roof tops but I don't lie about it either.

I'm VERY lucky in that my family and friends that matter know and while they may not agree with me being a GL they do accept it. How they found out is something for another posting, but, when they found out after the initial shouting, screaming and abuse they did some research and have come to realise that GL's in general (not just me) are NOT the monsters they are made out to be but are actually humans in a very difficult situation.

Well that's a little about me. I look forward to getting to know you all in the future.
