How would you detect that a child had or had not undergone grooming?

How was it detected that Masha and the other victims had undergone grooming? What about grooming by agents of the State? A child manipulated for years, until she finally breaks and agrees she is a victim?

Presumably by the judge and jury who convicted her abuser, as in most cases where we have to rely on the courts for such evidence to be validated. You have the right to ignore the justice system of your own particular country but I wouldn't advise it as I hear the penalties are quite severe.

Is grooming necessary for a child to engage in sex-play with either another child or an adult?

Not necessarily no but I doubt they would want to film themselves doing so and for most CP it does appear that adults are the ones in control. Perhaps there is some CP strictly produced by kids - I wouldn't know.

Since we can't view the previously legal CP, the adult control assumption is dubious. Perhaps the children were exhibitionists?

Believe what you want, practice what you want, don't cry about the consequences.

The point is that if taking part in CP, in and of itself, is harmful, they should have been harmed. If the revictimization hypothesis is true, they should have suffered further harm from people viewing the images through decades.

Numerous victims whether filmed or not do suffer the affects of their abuse so why not read some accounts. I have seen many comments from those who have been in such CP material as to how it affects them. Since the possession of such material has been banned for a long time you are arguing that the ban has been effective. Perhaps there would have been greater consequences for them if possession was made legal.

If other children were found, who denied their victimhood and claim they consented, would you accept their testimonies?

As I commented, how does one devise a test to tell? Especially when they are trying to protect those whom they have grown close to.

Sandi and Lily, models from Webeweb, both denied being victims.

Victims of what? Penetrative sexual abuse as in the case of Masha and others?
