Go and find your own information on child development, I'm not doing your research for you. But of course you will not believe it since it comes from a biased viewpoint.

No child development stuff I've read contradicts my point. None of it. I asked you to explain something you know very well you cannot explain, because you know I'm right. You don't need a degree in child development or child psychology, or really to have read much at all, to see that my point is valid. The entire premise of sex equaling de facto harm to kids is inconsistent with child development as it is understood. Even the esteemed Richard Dawkins recognized that. And because you know I'm right, you just throw out cop-out answers like this.

I'm not asking for a treatise on child development; I am asking you for an explanation on why YOU think sex is so fundamentally different from other activities children might engage in, despite all elements which have been argued as the source of harm being the same across the board, that it causes harm. It's not a difficult question. You brought up the power imbalance, which I pointed out is present in ALL situations with children. Others have brought up brain development; again, present in all situations. So what is the key element that is missing here? I'll tell you what it is: logic dictates that, by process of elimination, it has to be outside influence which causes it, namely society's interference in how sexual contact is perceived by adults.

And that's why you keep copping out on this. Deep down you know I'm right. Unless you are willing to address this point, debate closed. I rest my case. :)
