Markaba is an old friend with a long history here, and being here to support pedophiles doesn't mean much if we aren't going to support our friends who are questioning how and where they fit in society.

Of course, sometimes we must cut ties when a poster puts the community in danger or severely disrupts conversation on the board, but Markaba is not doing that - and we are fortunate to have some loyal opposition to remind us of different perspectives, even if those perspectives have serious weaknesses. I'd like to think that we are correct about everything, but I know we must have missed something - and even if the perspectives others bring are no better (or considerably worse) than ours, they serve to remind us of our own limitations.
