Well, I have travelled a lot but mostly to western Europe (only visited Zagreb a few days). Many beaches seem like magnets to LG's. Yeah, Ive seen pictures as well. Come to think of it, when you look at travel brochures, what images do they use a lot to sell their vacation offers? Yep, children! :-)

Hmm, maybe you have a point about the religion stuff. Up here in the north we are, on paper, protestants, but most of us just use the churches for major events like babtism, communion and marriage. It's more a habit than a belief. Other than that, it's not something that concerns us that much. Religion (whatever it is) is what you practice in private. [ That is also why there nowadays are so many clashes with the immigrants of arabic descent. ]

A small part of our income taxes goes to the church and one can officially deny to pay the church tax, if one wishes to. Most don't bother, since the amount is not that big and since we still wish to get married in a church and not at the town hall, because that is the "way it has allways been done". Personally, I'm a non-believer and never attend church other than at the before mentioned festivitas, and I know of no one who does otherwise. I was babtized (like most of us) but choose to forfeit the communion (and here I am the minority), but I still pay the church tax. Mainly because most of our churches are old and historic buildings, that are worthy of preservation...

Sorry, this was not meant to be so long winded. Yes the US seems to take religion much more seriously and that could be an explaination concerning their hangups about sex, but what about the UK? They seem to be just as prudish about sex, but to my knowledge they are religion-wise similar to my country (not counting the Irish Catholics).
