Yes, because God knows we need to make sure kids feel even more different from the norm by attaching a label to them that glaringly points it out. I really think this is a bad idea, Dissident. 28, who is probably the wisest and most level-headed GLer around, agrees with me on this. Perhaps you should rethink it. Kids do not need more labels created by adults attached to them. Let them come up with their own labels if they so choose. If you don't, I dare say you are being hypocritical on this point. You aren't empowering kids by making up categories to pidgeon-hole them into. Let them say what they want to be called; it's not our place.
