I use -- what is its name again? Acronis True Image, but it is not free.

There are free disk cloning programs anyway (use search engines), just buy a new hard disk that is as large or larger as you HD, and make a clone of your hard disk.

It will be bootable, just an exact copy of your present hard disk, and if you always have two copies of the same hard disk available, you will never lose anything. Very recommendable!

This way you can forget all backup copies. All? No. If you are working with an important project, writing, videos, images, whatever, remember to copy your new files to another media daily.

But the best way to make a backup copy of a hard disk is another hard disk, a clone.

This way you won't feel any rage
if your container or hard disk crashes.
