You clearly haven't. You clearly can't comprehend the significant difference between single payer socialist health care and the statist-corporatist Obamacare. You also confuse statism and corporatism in general with socialism. And Obamacare doesn't equal government control of privately owned businesses, it equals government control of private citizens forcing them to purchase corporate controlled health care plans. That's statism and corporatism but not socialism.

As far as Obama and socialism are concerned, it is VERY easy to research his father's leanings toward and support of Marxism.

You mean the father he only meant once? The father who died 30 years ago? Yeah, he obviously influences everything that Obama says and does now as president of a center-right country that's vastly different from his father's country. Obama's not a socialist, he's not even a liberal. He's a center-left statist and corporatist. There's a difference.

Secondly, I live in an area that is primarily black. I heard no shortage of black folks (many of whom I like), say things that strongly indicated they were voting for him because he was black. A very good friend of mine (who is black) told me he and his wife were fighting in 2008 about politics. He is conservative. She actually AGREED with his arguments about the stances that both parties take, but outright said to him, "I can't believe you are not supporting our people." Many of these folks, frankly, don't know the difference in a Republican, a Democrat, or any other party. I had white acquaintances who said they were proud to be voting in our first black president.

Blacks consistently vote >90% for Democrats, most of whom are white. Obama didn't get >90% of the black vote because he's black, he got >90% of the black vote because he's a DEMOCRAT. You think blacks and white liberals would vote for Allen West over a white Democrat because he's black? Think again. Allen West would lose the black vote in a landslide against any white Democrat.

Finally, if you can't win an argument with a conservative, just through out the "right wing talking points" talking point.

As I already mentioned, I'm a registered Republican and more libertarian than anything else. I'm not a leftist or a Democrat. But if I hear stupid right wing talking points, I'm going to point them out, just as if I hear stupid left wing talking points. I prefer to deal with actual facts, logic, and reason. Your contentions were bereft of them, so I challenged you on them. It has nothing to do with you being a conservative. Many of my political heroes happen to be conservative, constitutional conservatives and center-right libertarians.
