You know what bothers me? the idea of childhood innocence

Whenever I go to forums to look for discussions about paedophilia, I notice that many users on these forums always use certain phrases. A Certain phrase that are repeated over and over again. That phrase being "children are innocent".

And I wondered if children are innocent, then what about adults? Are adults innocent too? And if not, then at what age do you go from being "innocent" to not "innocent"? If you say that a child "looses" his or her "innocence" when they reach a certain age, then it proves that the idea/notion of childhood innocence is really nothing more than made up bullshit.
The idea of childhood innocence has no basis in fact. I have not seen and physical proof or evidence that proves that children are inherently innocent.

Another thing that bothers me is the idea that you can "rob" or "steal" a child's innocence. First of this does not make any sense. How exactly can you "rob" or "steal" someones innocence? You cannot "rob" or "steal" someones because Innocence is an idea. an abstract .a human construct. Once again it proves that the idea of childhood innocence is bullshit.

One last question:

Where did the idea of childhood innocence come from?
