greener pastures

..Or purple, I suppose. While on an unrelated search for statistical data, I stumbled upon this page, which got me thinking. For those with no love interests where they currently reside, and no other major things pinning them down to a specific location, why would you not consider moving to a place that's not only to your liking in other ways, but also has the highest percentage of people you like most?

It's a few years old, but I still thought it was interesting. Some places are surely do an influx of migrant kids. Other places, not so. Might these facts be contributing to why some of us feel like we're in a garden of young ones, and others in a wasteland?

Also, thanks to Gimwinkle's post about kids in less affluent areas. I had always noticed there seemed to be more kids in these areas, and that they were not kept on such short leashes or victims of helicopter parenting nearly as much as affluent areas. I've experienced both in my life, so this was a timely link to come across.
