There is an incorrect perception out there that MAPs have more of an urge component to their attractions that people of other sexual orientations don't have.

I don't claim that. My point is that there is an uncomfortably high percentage of bad judgment caused by sexual desire in every sexual orientation, and I don't think we are fundamentally different than any others. But, the potential for children to be harmed by that bad judgment is much higher than it is for adults, which is why it must remain illegal.
