Seriously? WTF? What's up with these PeeJ guys and the like who approach random men in chat rooms pretending to be children and trying to get the men to meet them for sex? It's all a setup, we know that. But where's the logic? And how can provoking people to break the law be legal? If anything, it should be very much illegal.

How can you just approach random people and try to get them to break the law? This is insane. Why is it only acceptable to do in reference to pedophilia? The only other time you might see something similar to this is with terrorism, where LEOs might try to gather information on certain individuals. Even then, they're not going to approach random people to incite them to commit terrorism. Usually the LEOs have their own suspects who have previously made incriminating statements, therefore they are NOT approaching random people.

How often would a sting op approach random people to entice them into stealing a car?

Commit a murder?

Rob a bank?

Not sure, but I think this is not usually done with enticing people to buy drugs, unless it's in a "druggie" zone. Even that I'm unsure about.

So where is the logic? How can you pose as a child online and try to entice random men to have sex with you? And let's face it - they don't approach any women to have sex with them. It isn't a sting on female pedos, even though they exist. So sorry to say, this is another case of misandry and discriminating against males. They want nothing more than to bust some dirty, piggy male. They'll go as far as to entice a male who otherwise had no ambition to break the law. It might be different if these PeeJ people were simply approaching people known for trying to break the law (however ridiculous the law is), but that is not the case.

Actually, similar "law enforcement" methods do exist - to the best of my knowledge only in relation to prostitution. Someone - usually a female LEO will pose as a prostitute and try to get males to buy sex from her. Basically the same thing here. And guess what? It's also related to sex. And it's also about busting men, for wanting to have sex.

Justify it how you want, but it doesn't make sense unless the parties are trying to bust people who started the attempt at breaking the law. Trying to get random people to break the law is simply unheard of, except when it comes to these random examples, which have to do with sex, and condemning the desires of the male gender (even though the female gender may have similar desires - these sting ops are always geared towards busting the males).

And don't get me wrong - worse crap may be happening in some commie or third world country, and worse has certainly happened in the past, but this stuff simply has no place in a "democratic", "free" society. It's even more interesting that such sting ops are only being geared towards combating very similar behaviorisms.
