I see that it is rather popular to post your 'girl moments’; I don't really have them so have never posted one. But I have just had a lovely GM that I wanted to share.

I just went to get a pint of milk and some bread about half an hour ago, while walking to the shop I saw ahead of me was a girl of about ten sitting alone on a bench, even from a distance I could see she was spectacular. A really beautiful young girl.

As I approached I noticed she was crying, I continued towards her and did something I feel pretty rotten about. I walked right past her.

Since being convicted for possession of child pornography I am very aware of my proximity to young girls, I worry that someone who knows me and my situation may see me with a girl and draw the wrong conclusions so now I barely even look at them when I'm out. Jesus I'm paranoid aren't I?

Anyway, I was already past her when she spoke to me in a beautiful French accent. My heart skipped because if there is one thing I love more than young girls it is young French girls! She simply said, "Excuse me please".

Of course I had no choice then but to talk to her, I turned and asked what was wrong. She told me she was lost and couldn't find her parents anywhere, I sat down next to her being careful to keep my distance. She said she had been lost for over an hour and she'd looked for her mum and dad everywhere.

I said I would take her to a police station and she agreed. We got up and started walking when she took my hand in hers! I instantly felt very uncomfortable and self-conscious and tried to release my hand from her grip but she wouldn't let go.

We arrived at the police station and as soon as we entered she let go of me and ran up to a man and woman who were also there, by chance her parents had arrived at the same police station just moments before.

I explained I had just found her but they interrupted me by gushing thanks for bringing their daughter there, at the same time the girl hugged me. I could have died right there! I felt myself go red and I pulled her away by her shoulders and patted her on the head in that patronising way that people do with kids, she looked at me and gave me the kind of smile that makes you fall in love instantly.

Anyway, that's it. I just thought you would like to hear it.
