Dante's position is that he won't compromise until society compromises, because it's a reasonable expectation for the rest of the world to change before one person does, I guess. Of course, now that society actually is showing signs of being a bit more tolerant, he'll have to come up with some other excuse not to be willing to compromise: It's not enough--they must allow adults to french kiss children first before we at GC will give an inch. Of course, that wouldn't be enough either. All or nothing! That could be GC's motto.
