It was pretty amazing to me just how many people rushed to attack Trump for basically just being a man. I don't believe he sexually assaulted anyone, but I believe like most heterosexual men he likes to brag about being powerful and getting any woman he desires, and talk about women in a sexually aggressive sort of way. I don't think anyone has accused Trump of lacking testosterone.

As Trump said, it's locker room talk. The reason it's called locker room talk is because men talk that way with other men when they don't think any women are going to hear what they're saying, because women don't want to know what men are really like (just as men have their own blinders on about women). I'm sure every guy has had private thoughts or conversations that would make him look quite bad in news headlines. The fact is, women like being the beneficiaries of aggressive, dominant men, and they like the idea of being so attractive and sexually desirable that a man would lose all control of himself. This is why rape is the #1 sexual fantasy among women. Just as that rape is a fantasy, not a reality, so is what Trump said, and what lots of guys say to each other every single day.

But this is the politically-correct world we live in. Trump is not a politically correct person (which is why an overwhelming number of people sick of political correctness voted for him), and the enforcers of that politically correct language will slam him for it, call him names, and generally be hypocrites. People condemn Trump not for his actions, but his private thoughts and braggadocio, thoughts that aren't even all that uncommon, yet fall below an inhuman standard of deliberate falsehood designed to make people feel better, but not actually be better.

Personally, I don't give a crap about what people say, I care about what people do, which frankly is a stereotypical male perspective. We've seen Trump behave as a gentleman, promote women to high positions in his companies when they merit it, and though he's certainly no saint, he's far from being a misogynist when you look at his actions. So he's opinionated about what women are attractive and what women are not. What man isn't? His only flaw in this respect is to blab about it.

Hillary, meanwhile, has long been the supporter of policies that treat women (and minorities) as too weak, stupid, or incompetent to get through life without a ton of special programs and support unavailable to others, and despite women succeeding in basically every category better than men as a result of these things, she wants even more such programs and policies, supported with even more crushing taxes and regulations on men. She also has a long history of actions to destroy women who in some cases have been victims of her husband's sexual behavior. She is willing to forgive her husband of much worse than anything Trump has done, and has perpetrated attacks against women herself.

I know at this point, people are saying Hillary has the election all wrapped up. The polls have certainly swung in her direction. We'll see how that stands up to reality on election day, as polls of "likely voters" may not be so accurate in cases where both major candidates are so reviled, there's a candidate who has mass appeal to people who don't normally vote, and many may be uncomfortable giving their true opinion to a pollster. I know a lot of women who can't stand Hillary. I know a lot of men who are fed up with political correctness and being constantly disparaged. I'm personally hoping both parties will come to their senses and do a last-minute replacement of the candidates, but I wouldn't be surprised if Trump manages to pull this off somehow.

Disclaimer: I am not a supporter of Trump, and I won't be voting for him or Hillary in the upcoming general election. Both major parties have made atrocious choices for nominees and I am hoping for a large third party turnout.
